Matvey Vaisberg
Matvey Vaisberg was born in 1958 and he lives and works in Kiev, Ukraine.
He belongs to 'Kiev rearguard', which is a trend in painting. This movement has taken its shape as a cultural reaction, by intellectual artists, to the invasion of postmodern imitation practices.
Vaisberg has exhibited in the USA, Sweden, Poland, Hungary, Germany, Switzerland, Ukraine and Russia.
