Akhra Ajinjal
Akhra was born in 1962 in Abkhazia. He graduated from Sukhumi Fine Art Academy in 1982. From 1982 - 1987 he studied at Moscow State University in the Department of History, specialising in History of Art. At the same time Akhra studied graphic art and painting.
From 1987 - 1992 he worked for the art magazine, 'Abkhazian Art', writing over 50 articles, which were published in Abkhazia and Russia.
Since 1993, he has been living and working in Kiev, Ukraine.
Exhibitions:
Akhra has had solo shows in Moscow, Kiev and Athens and group shows in Sukhumi, Genoa, Ustka, Kiev and Oberdessbach.
